SAP PP Lead Consultant; S​/HANA

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Lead Consultant with strong S/4

HANA implementation expertise to lead end-to-end production planning and manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, lead functional design, and support S/4

HANA implementations, rollouts, and transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP implementations in S/4
  
  HANA (Greenfield / Brownfield / Landscape Transformation).
• Act as functional lead for SAP PP and related manufacturing processes.
• Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into functional specifications.
• Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routing)
• Demand Management & MRP
• Capacity Planning
• Production Orders & Process Orders
• Repetitive Manufacturing
• Make-to-Order / Make-to-Stock
• Lead integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO.
• Support S/4
  
  HANA specific changes:
• Simplification Item List impact analysis
• Fiori Apps for PP
• Embedded MRP (MRP Live)
• Lead testing activities:
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• UAT support
• Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Guide and mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.
• Participate in client workshops, blueprint sessions, and solution design discussions.
• Prepare functional documentation:
• Business Blueprints
• Functional Design Documents (FDD)
• Configuration & Testing Documents
• Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP PP functional experience
• Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• MRP, Demand Management
• Production Orders
• Capacity Planning
• Variant Configuration (preferred)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes
• Experience working with Fiori Apps and S/4
  
  HANA embedded analytics
• Integration experience with MM, SD, QM, PM, and CO
• Experience with data migration and CVIs (Customer/Vendor Integration) is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading teams and working in onsite–offshore delivery models

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Advanced Planning tools (PP/DS – APO or S/4 embedded)
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 / Digital Manufacturing
• SAP certifications in:
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA Production Planning
• Experience in Pharma, Automotive, Manufacturing, FMCG, or Chemicals

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
• SAP Certification (preferred)
