We are seeking a SUSE Linux Administrator to join our team. This role will involve managing and maintaining SUSE Linux Enterprise Server environments, performing system updates, and ensuring system security and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in SUSE Linux administration, SMB/NFS configurations, patch management, and system optimization, and a passion for maintaining secure and reliable enterprise infrastructure.

Location: Corona, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

• Manage and maintain 120 SLES 15 servers hosting SAP ERP systems.
• Perform monthly patching, service pack deployments, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot and administer SMB/NFS connections and related configurations.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with hardening standards.
• Execute cleanup of obsolete packages and optimize system performance.
• Support ongoing projects and ensure high availability and security compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of experience in Linux administration.
• Strong expertise in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES 15).
• Experience with SMB/NFS connections and related configurations.
• Experience in system patching, updates, and security remediation.
• Strong understanding of system performance optimization and enterprise Linux environments.
