This role is essential in bridging technical expertise with sales acumen. The Technical Support & Sales Specialist will engage with garage door dealers, providing them with critical support and solutions while also identifying upselling opportunities. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and customer service skills, as the specialist will handle high-volume calls, troubleshoot issues, and guide technicians through complex challenges.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong aptitude for both technical support and sales. This role presents an opportunity to transition from a physically demanding position to a more strategic, inside sales role within a growing company.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 / Year DOE

• Provide technical assistance to dealers, installers, and customers regarding product lines
• Troubleshoot complex field issues involving track configurations, spring sets, and operating hardware
• Interpret architectural or mechanical specifications to recommend correct product hardware setups
• Guide field technicians through installation challenges and hardware troubleshooting via phone or email
• Cross-sell across various product lines, maximizing sales opportunities
• Manage high-volume calls efficiently, addressing both customer inquiries and technical support needs
• Support administrative tasks as required, allowing for a focus on technical and sales functions

• 3+ years of experience in the garage door industry
• Experience in upselling or inside sales is a plus
• Service-side experience is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
