Opportunity

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking an empathetic, detail‑oriented Pre‑litigation Assistant for our Personal Injury team. The perfect candidate has a service mindset, meticulous approach to case management, and a full‑time commitment at our Corona, CA office. Experience in legal case management is required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement.
  • Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; and providing the utmost professional support.
  • Maintain client records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress.
  • Communicate client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.
  • Request medical records; mail, scan and track government claim forms; and manage the resolution of property damage claims.
  • Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence.
  • Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation.
  • Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies.
  • 2–5 years of case management (pre‑litigation) experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support, with emphasis on active listening skills.
  • Superior time management and the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines at once.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effective organization skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
  • CASEpeer/Filevine legal management software experience a plus.
  • Team‑oriented and independently capable.
  • Maintains consistent attendance to support the team's productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law.
