The RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will create an environment where people will want to live. You will maintain the property to ensure good working order and pleasant curb appeal while providing excellent customer service to your residents. The incumbent must possess a high degree of professionalism and positive engagement for our residents and the workforce.

- 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
- Hands‑on maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
- EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
- Availability to be on‑call to address any emergencies.
- Reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and develop.
- Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Basic computer knowledge:
Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e‑mail.
- Customer service and maintenance – Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and deliver high-quality maintenance service.
- Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Complete the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections and vendor coordination.
- Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Support cost‑cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
- Conduct routine property inspections and communicate concerns to management.
- Track inventory and notify supervisors for re‑ordering needs.
- Follow safety and regulatory procedures, including OSHA training and reporting incidents.
- Maintain compliance with fair housing and ADA laws.
- Fulfill physical demands: standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, occasional travel.
