Responsibilities
Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance. Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs. Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports, operating practices and other documentation. Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment. Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
- 3-5 Years’ Experience In Maintenance Field Or More Preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.
- Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry.
- View computer monitor
- Hear and speak via telephone.
- Reach forward and/or overhead
- Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop and/or reach
- Ability to carry, erect and climb ladders
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.
- The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
- Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
Hourly: $22.50
