A day in the life:
As the Sr Director, Supply Planning - North America, you will provide visionary leadership for the end-to-end finished good supply planning function. Accountable for shaping and executing strategies that optimize alignment between demand, supply, production, and logistics, ensuring resilience and agility in a dynamic market. Partner closely with executive leadership to influence strategic decisions, drive operational excellence, and enable long-term growth.
Lead a high performing team, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and champions digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives to future-proof the supply chain
The impact you'll make:
- Process Excellence:
Drive adoption of advanced planning technologies (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence [AI]/Machine Learning [ML] tools) and standardize best practices. Lead initiatives to enhance agility, responsiveness, and resilience in the North American supply chain. - Risk Management:
Anticipate and mitigate regional supply risks through scenario modeling, contingency planning, and proactive stakeholder engagement. - Continuous Improvement:
Benchmark against industry leaders and drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the North American supply planning organization. - Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the North America supply planning strategy, aligning with enterprise objectives and regional market dynamics. Influence executive decision-making through advanced analytics, scenario planning, and risk modeling. - Team Leadership & Talent Development:
Lead and inspire a team of senior managers and planning professionals. Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Demand Planning, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of supply plans with business priorities. Act as a key liaison with global planning leadership to align regional strategies with global objectives. - Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Accountability:
Own and monitor regional supply planning KPIs (service, inventory, cost, agility). Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to exceed performance targets. - Executive Reporting:
Deliver executive-level insights and recommendations, translating complex planning data into actionable strategies for senior leadership.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field required.
- More than 10 years of experience in supply or production planning
- More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing multi-site or regional teams
- Advanced proficiency in ERP and supply chain planning systems (SAP APO/SNP, Kinaxis, OMP, or similar).
- Experience with AI/ML tools for supply chain optimization is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, scenario modeling, and data visualization skills.
- Preferred
Certifications:
APICS CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent required. Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification a plus
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $151,000 - $202,000. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
