Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary

Renewable Energy Partners Inc is an established and growing company in the commercial solar industry. We are an innovative team who foster a collaborative, supportive, and growth‑focused culture and are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join the REPI family. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Operations team to drive concurrent solar energy projects from contract through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing solar projects, including roof mounts, carports, and battery systems.
  • Assist in managing project schedules, milestones, and daily construction activities.
  • Help identify and resolve project risks or delays before they impact timelines.
  • Manage project documentation, including permit submittals, utility interconnection paperwork, compliance reports, change orders, and project progress reports.
  • Coordinate with engineers, procurement teams, and field crews to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Communicate project updates to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in solar EPC, construction, or project management support.
  • Knowledge of residential or commercial solar PV systems, components, and designs.
  • Familiarity with solar installation processes, permitting, and utility interconnection is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to anticipate project challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project demands across multiple sites.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer‑first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre‑employment background check, including drug/alcohol screen and clear DMV report.
