Responsible for grinding sheet metal in the flat pattern (nest) and grinding enclosures. Responsible for taking care of grinding equipment and sustaining a clean work environment.

• Grinding metal using grinder machine, sander, and time saver.
• Use small hand tools such as wrenches and pneumatic grinders.
• Prepping parts prior to outside process.
• Sustains 5S in workstations.
• Practices ESL’s core values on a daily basis.
• Use lean practices and processes to keep department efficient.
• Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required Proper Protective Equipment.

• Good oral communication skills.
• Be able to multi task.
• Self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Stand/walk, lift/pull/push for the majority of the scheduled shift.
• Hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
• Climb, stoop, and kneel.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work with 12ft ladders.
