Location:
Corona, CA.
This role is on the 2nd Shift – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 2nd Shift Differential: $0.75 per hour.
Responsibilities- Support safety programs and policies in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Perform preventive maintenance on all packaging and process equipment to maximize efficiencies and reduce downtime.
- Provide technical support to Operations Team, including training and cross‑training of production personnel for first‑level maintenance activities.
- Handle troubleshooting and repair of packaging and process equipment such as fillers, cappers, case erectors, case packers, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other machinery.
- Assist continuous improvement efforts by providing equipment and process expertise.
- HS diploma required or equivalent experience.
- Associate degree, licensing, or equivalent trade school training in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in manufacturing, automotive, farming, or related industries.
- Experience with packaging equipment (fillers, cappers, case packers, conveyors, tanks, pumps) preferred.
- Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing with GMP, OSHA, FDA, EPA standards preferred.
- Experience using a CMMS system.
- Ability to diagnose root‑cause issues and complete repairs through to satisfactory completion.
- Willingness to work overtime, off‑shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficiency with hand, portable power, and shop tools for maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings, preventive maintenance procedures, and ability to rebuild pumps, gearboxes, and cylinders.
- Knowledge of vibration analysis, torque requirements, and tolerances.
- Ability to fabricate small machine parts and provide feedback to improve PMs and SOPs.
