We are looking for a Sander to join our team. The Sander will demonstrate all aspects of sanding, processing, and fitting of raw wood parts. The role performs a variety of hand and/or machine operations to buff and polish bodies or necks to a finished polished appearance as the final process of the guitar. Additionally, the ability to execute repairs, inspect prior to final acceptance, and perform final process steps is required.
EssentialFunctions
- Sand parts to specific detailed requirements.
- Follow instructions as directed by supervisor.
- Ensure own production conforms to requirements of quality and schedule.
- Inspect input/output quality requirements on all units processed.
- Follow approved procedures to complete all assigned tasks.
- Maintain work area in a clean, repaired and organized manner.
- Handle and store all regulated materials in compliance with company policy, state and federal regulations and in accordance with material safety data sheets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communicates and works well with others.
- Safety commitment.
- Good hand dexterity.
- Read and interpret work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of the correct use of hand power tools.
- Guitar or musical background preferred but not required.
- Ability to adhere to safety procedures, rules, and regulations at all times, and to wear personal protective equipment while on the factory floor, including safety glasses.

Pay Scale
The current pay scale for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
