Brooks Instrument (), an industry leader in flow and pressure instrumentation for critical applications, is seeking candidates for an Equipment Maintenance Technician reporting to the Production Manager position that will be based at our manufacturing location in Corona, California. Perform highly diversified duties to troubleshoot and maintain production CNC machines and facility equipment in accordance with safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes, supporting the site’s business goals and objectives.

• Maintain production CNC machines and plant facility equipment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled troubleshooting of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Apply repair mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production CNC machines, secondary processing equipment and ACS.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Collaborate with OEM service technicians or outside contractors and ensure safety regulations and protocols are enforced.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, ranging from simple to complex.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
• Replace all safety guards and other devices upon completion of all repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance activities.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques, including LOTO and Electrical Safety.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.

• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance, a plus.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit, occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move heavier weights.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
