Production Packaging Associates 2nd Shift

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry‑level position responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products, moving material, and operating packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to the work schedule.
• Show teamwork by working well and effectively with others.
• Follow company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them into designated bins.
• Place discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
• Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests, for designated lines.
• Immediately report all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found.
• Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
• Move finished goods to the designated area.
• Set up and organize workstations efficiently; maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
• Duties may differ by plant based on equipment and plant design.

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach out, over, and below with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment consists of a production setting with moving mechanical parts, typically loud noise, and temperature variations. Personal protective equipment is required in the production department and designated areas.
