RN PACU Surgery Per Diem

Registered Nurse (RN) PACU – Per Diem Position

Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments.

Location: Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA.

Monitors vital signs and makes necessary interventions as prescribed within the scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist. May also assist in the transport of patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors, and assists with monitoring of IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room. Able to provide competent care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through geriatric.

• Minimum Essential
  
  Experience:
  
  One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience required.
• Age specific education and/or experience.

• Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
• Current BLS (CPR), A.C.L.S and P.A.L.S. Certificate required.
