Responsibilities

OR - Clinical Nurse Educator position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

Reporting to Director of Education, the Clinical Educator works with the team to provide high quality and evidence-based practice to all clinical and non-clinical staff at Corona Regional Medical Center. This role includes policy and procedure development, implementation of new skills, equipment, and processes. Competency validation completion for all disciplines. Onboarding new team members in all areas. Conducts training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Orientation and New to Specialty Programs.

Educator attends Departmental meetings as needed. Coordinates with various clinical departments and manages projects as needed.

Preferred knowledge in working with PowerPoint, Excel, email and the electronic medical record.

Five years of full-time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.

Five years of experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the acute care setting.

BSN Required Master’s Degree Preferred

Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California.

Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
