About the Role

Seeking Private Duty Registered Nurses to join our team committed to the highest standard of care, integrity, and reliability. Hallway Healthcare provides in-home nursing care to retired Nuclear and Federal Workers who have received benefits through the EEOICPA or FECA, as well as Federal Workers such as US Postal Workers.

Unlike many home health agencies that require multiple short visits per shift, Hallway Healthcare typically assigns you to one patient per shift, allowing for more focused, consistent, and meaningful care.

Required Education, License & Certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current California RN/LVN License.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
Schedule / Shifts

Location:

Corona, CA.

Available shifts: 7 days a week, 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available.

Pay rates: $45.00–$50.68 per hour.

Daily rates: $630–$709 for a 12‑hour shift.

Competitive shift differentials: additional $5 per hour for 8‑hour shifts and $10 per hour for shifts under 8 hours. Overtime (time‑and‑a‑half) is paid for all hours worked beyond 8 in a day.

Other locations and shifts may be available.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
  • Demonstrate efficient teamwork with the staff.
  • Demonstrate organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Support quality improvement practices.
  • Perform nursing procedures according to agency policy and procedures.
  • Work under the direction of an RN Case Manager and Director of Nursing.
  • Monitor reactions and patient progress using observation, assessment, and evaluation skills.
  • Educate patients and family members according to disease process, medications, POC, treatment options, and home care procedures according to the plan of care.
  • Report adverse findings to physician and RN Case Manager.
  • Follow state regulations.
  • Complete clinical notes for each visit, incorporated into the record on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate and monitor patient care and services.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Follow infection control policy.
  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Transport patients to doctor appointments, grocery stores, or pharmacies.
  • Document skilled visits accurately in accordance with established guidelines; documentation must be completed by end of each shift. If unable to complete, notify the case manager.
  • Maintain patient records according to policy and procedures.
  • Participate in in‑services, workshops, seminars, and self‑study courses.
