LVN - Psychiatric Unit position located Corona Regional Rehabilitation Center in Corona, CA
Reporting to the Nurse Manager and Director of Behavioral Health Services, this position will require accountability for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to your care. Utilizes specialized knowledge and skills in the application of nursing process skills to deliver quality care to patients with serious and persistent mental illness. Works in conjunction with the Charge Nurse and may function as Relief Charge Nurse, as needed.

Knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diagnosis(es), terminology and medical record charting. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Minimum Essential ExperienceAt least two (2) years experience working with clients with serious and persistent mental illness, preferably one of those years in an inpatient setting. Excellent verbal and written skills.
Minimum Essential EducationAssaultive Behavior Management Training required within 90 days from date of hire.
Required Licensure / CertificationsCurrent California LVN license required. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.
