Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Stepdown Per Diem

Position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital has evolved since its founding in 1965 to meet the needs of the community. It is now a 238-bed community hospital network with a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

The mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education, and clearly documenting patient activities. They are responsible for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene, ADL's, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assist patient with TC and DB and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients.

They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.

Qualifications:

Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required through the American Heart Association.
