Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - MST

Part‑Time, Days Shift position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient’s personal hygiene, ADLs, vital signs, application of ice bags, K‑Pads, assist patient with TC and DB and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients.

They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions.

• Must have current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the first clinical curriculum semester.
• Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required through the American Heart Association.
