Educator – Emergency Department (ED)

Full‑time, day position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

Corona Regional Medical Center is a 238‑bed community hospital network certified by the Joint Commission that serves the Corona, CA community.

• Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based training to clinical and non‑clinical staff.
• Develop, approve and implement policies, procedures, new skills, equipment, and processes.
• Validate competency for all disciplines.
• Onboard new team members across all areas.
• Conduct training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series, and ICU/SD New‑to‑Specialty Programs.
• Attend departmental meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical departments and manage projects as required.

• Understanding and knowledge of educational techniques and principles of adult learning.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff, physicians, leadership, and ancillary department staff.
• Ability to generate enthusiasm for learning and professional growth among employees.
• Flexibility and ability to work a variety of hours to provide education to all clinical shifts.
• Preferred knowledge in working with PowerPoint, Excel, email and the electronic medical record.

Five years of full‑time experience as a licensed registered nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.

Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the acute‑care setting.

BSN required.

Master’s degree preferred.

Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California. Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
