Educator – Emergency Department (ED)
Full‑time, day position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.
Corona Regional Medical Center is a 238‑bed community hospital network certified by the Joint Commission that serves the Corona, CA community.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality, evidence‑based training to clinical and non‑clinical staff.
- Develop, approve and implement policies, procedures, new skills, equipment, and processes.
- Validate competency for all disciplines.
- Onboard new team members across all areas.
- Conduct training for Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series, and ICU/SD New‑to‑Specialty Programs.
- Attend departmental meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with clinical departments and manage projects as required.

- Understanding and knowledge of educational techniques and principles of adult learning.
- Effective communication with all levels of staff, physicians, leadership, and ancillary department staff.
- Ability to generate enthusiasm for learning and professional growth among employees.
- Flexibility and ability to work a variety of hours to provide education to all clinical shifts.
- Preferred knowledge in working with PowerPoint, Excel, email and the electronic medical record.
Five years of full‑time experience as a licensed registered nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
Preferred ExperienceExperience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the acute‑care setting.
Minimum Essential EducationBSN required.
Preferred EducationMaster’s degree preferred.
Required Licensure & CertificationsCurrent license to practice professional nursing in the State of California. Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
