Position Summary

Member Frontline Services Associate – responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing checkout and member services, maintaining a safe and organized store environment, and training new associates.

Responsibilities
  • Observe entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, identify member needs, and provide assistance with purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas, including zoning, arranging, and organizing merchandise to create a safe shopping environment.
  • Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve member issues and concerns promptly and promote Sam’s Club products and services.
  • Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
  • Assist with the training of Member Frontline Services associates, including instructional delivery, new technology training, and continuous learning initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork, logs, and required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures when necessary.
  • Identify shrink, damages, and uphold best practices for merchandise handling and secure management of store assets.
  • Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend process improvements.
  • Adopt and promote Walmart’s values of integrity, teamwork, inclusiveness, and excellence in all workplace activities.
Minimum Qualifications

No minimum qualifications are required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.
Compensation
  • Hourly wage: $19.00–$27.00 (exceeding local minimum wage).
  • Additional premium compensation may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
