As a Food Service Associate at Sam’s Club, you will be responsible for preparing food, ensuring quality and safety, supporting members, and maintaining a productive work environment.

• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and educate teammates on specifications, tools, and resources.
• Prepare food in accordance with item specifications and seasonal demands while adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold-chain compliance, and inventory control.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and manage inventory to eliminate waste.
• Leverage handheld and digital tools to support production decisions, order merchandise, receive club pickup orders, train staff, and improve product quality.
• Drive area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring date-control and quality standards, and providing member service—including acknowledgments, assistance with purchasing decisions, payment processing, location of merchandise, and issue resolution.
• Act as a brand ambassador, fostering a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented culture, and assist in training new associates.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy to address concerns.
• Use policies, data, and resources to prioritize work, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities while adapting to change.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period.

• Food Safety Certification.
• Food Service / Food Handler Certification.
