Outbound Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in order to generate new business for the organization’s products and services
• Respond to prospective customer inquiries and requests for quotations
• Perform business development calls, presentations, and related follow up
• Consult with builders on industrial building projects to ensure ideal placement of product
• Identify new business opportunities within distribution, end user targets, and large industrial projects
• Train end users on C&P’s products and services
• Support existing product lines by fielding technical questions from customers
• Direct customer interface – daily as well as one to two nights a week – overnight travel is required
• Become technically proficient in customers’ applications as well as gain knowledge of new uses for existing products
• Participate in trade shows and conventions
• Other duties as assigned

• Sales experience in pipe hangers, engineered pipe supports, industrial construction, wastewater projects, or other relative construction is a plus
• A commitment to our culture of teamwork and collaboration is essential
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Good organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate solid sales strategy system.
• Above average verbal and written communication
