Job Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools, communicating effectively, educating customers, and showcasing the value of T-Mobile solutions.
- Consistently leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process, identify customer needs, and use solution‑based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services.
- Complete training on the in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes, and system and reference resources; review personal results, current promotions and updates on the Hub to remain customer ready at all times.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through a customer‑obsessed approach: passionate, friendly, engaging, and committed to exceeding customer expectations.
- Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up, device support and account servicing.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (Required)
Skills and Abilities
- Customer satisfied: A passionate customer advocate who balances experience and performance goals.
- Team building:
Willingness to work with peers and store leaders, sharing best practices while resolving issues. - Retail sales:
Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
No travel is required. The position is not DOT regulated nor safety sensitive.
Hourly Base Pay and IncentivesHourly Base Pay: $19.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for training pay. After completion, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status. All employees are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and every employee is eligible for an annual stock grant.
