We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Senior Sales Manager & Business Development professional to join our U.S. team. This role is primarily responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, developing new business opportunities, and managing key customer relationships within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will work closely with distributors, contractors, engineers, municipalities, and other industry stakeholders to strengthen the company's market presence and achieve business growth objectives. In addition, this individual will provide valuable market feedback and customer insights to support product enhancement, product line expansion, and future business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and growth objectives.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new customers, projects, and business opportunities to expand market share.
- Conduct regular visits to distributors, contractors, engineers, municipalities, and end users to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide effective product solutions that drive project specifications and sales conversions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quotations, negotiations, order management, and after-sales support.
- Deliver product presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and distribution partners.
- Support distributors with sales development initiatives and market expansion activities to increase product penetration.
- Manage key accounts and strategic projects to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Collect market intelligence, analyze sales performance, and provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and business updates.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, association meetings, and customer functions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely support and effective response to customer requirements.
- Gather customer feedback and market insights and provide recommendations for product improvements, new product opportunities, and product portfolio expansion.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience, preferably within PVC pipe and fittings, construction materials, water infrastructure, municipal, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong customer relationship management, account development, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
