Maintenance Technician

• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance.
• Assist and perform semiskilled tasks related to maintenance, repair and construction in the upkeep of the manufacturing facility.
• Assist and perform installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in basic building maintenance trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics.
• Perform warehouse duties related to receiving, storage and distribution of materials.
• Receive warehouse goods and materials and check them against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure correctness of merchandise and proper condition.
• Maintain warehouse and shelving in clean and orderly conditions.
• Inspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper groundskeeping and general cleanup and maintenance.
• Perform general groundskeeping daily; inspect outside areas and ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition.
• Prepare and paint walls and woodwork or perform other types of refinish; install or repair carpet; perform custodial duties as required.
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules and MSDS sheets.
• May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors and to eliminate all hazards.

Other duties may be assigned.

The base rate for this position is $25 to $30 per hour, with the potential for up to an additional 25% for applicants with additional related qualifications.
