Position:
Maintenance Technician (Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Distribution Center – Amerisource Bergen, United States)
Pay: $32.50 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
- Diagnose error conditions in Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems and perform repairs.
- Oversee maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of Material Handling Equipment controls.
- Assess equipment efficiency and define necessary modifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to support warehouse operations.
- Maintain CMMS/EAM records of repairs and spare parts inventory.
- Work extended hours as needed to meet productivity goals.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Technical vocational training or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a maintenance or mechanical/electrical/controls environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, including motor systems, power supplies, drives, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial sensors.
- Experience with PLC programming: loading programs, modifying timing, adding alarms and logic.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as PROFIBUS, BACnet, LONWORKS, PROFINET, CAN‑BUS, and ASI.
- Familiarity with chill water plant systems (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, HVAC, BAS).
- Computer skills: installation and troubleshooting of hardware, MS Office, and MHE software (RSLogix, Sort Director, GSMi, IPoint, Flex Sort).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring capabilities.
- Full‑time salary range: $59,500 – $119,020 (national average), with location adjustments.
