General Plant Maintenance

General Maintenance is an entry‑level role responsible for supporting general tasks around the worksite. The position requires little to no prior experience and serves as an introduction to the construction aggregate industry.

• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, including wearing PPE and following MSHA/OSHA regulations.
• Maintain situational awareness to prevent accidents and ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as removing debris, dust, and sediment from machines, especially crushers and screening equipment.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and in good condition before starting maintenance tasks.
• Follow instructions and work plans to ensure efficient transportation to the correct destination.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers for safe and efficient material movement.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably with heavy equipment and machinery, is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and MSHA/OSHA regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with others and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to climb equipment and handle heavy loads.

Hourly Range: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour. Additional benefits include discretionary bonus potential, health, dental, and vision programs, paid vacation, personal floating days, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and training and development opportunities.
