HVAC Service Technician; Level 4

Position Summary

Level‑4 Service Technician – responsible for troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, communicating solutions to clients, and sourcing necessary materials or equipment to exceed client expectations.

• Excellent communication with co‑workers, clients, and vendors.
• Create scope of work and present proposals to clients.
• Read and comprehend mechanical plans.
• Proficient in electrical systems: high‑voltage, low‑voltage, variable frequency drives, building automation controls.
• Proficient in mechanical systems: refrigeration cycle, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, valves, hot‑water systems, variable refrigerant flow, air distribution, ductwork, zoning design.
• Motivate, inspire, and coach team members; self‑starter with strong work ethic.
• Proactive problem‑solving, process improvement, and adaptability to change.
• Strong written and verbal communication; exceptional organizational skills.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• 10+ years HVAC experience.
• Trade school completion.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA Universal certification.
