PositionA Journeyman Glazier for Glazing Concepts Inc. is responsible for the successful completion, at or under budget, of every job assigned to him, from pre‑construction meeting to punch list. The Journeyman Glazier is expected to be a working manager on jobs for which he is responsible and a skilled and cooperative co‑worker on other jobs to which he is assigned. In the shop he fabricates storefront windows and frames, doors and frames, ribbon windows and curtain walls to specification, including warehousing, cutting and handling of all kinds of glass.
He is the company’s front line of defense on tracking and controlling the number of man‑hours and materials used in each project and on identifying and initiating change orders from the original scope of work.
- Applicant must have glazing experience in Commercial Glazing
- Applicant must be 18 years or older to apply
- Applicant must have the physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, work outdoors, and lift tools and materials up to 50 lbs. typically used in commercial construction.
