Job Title
Purpose and Scope:
To follow the instructions that have been assigned by the Civil Foreman to ensure that quality work is completed in a timely manner. Responsibilities include hand digging trenches, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete, installing PVC and HDPE underground conduit, loading and unloading trucks, hauling, hoisting, and storing materials, operating a variety of hand and power tools, providing detailed and accurate reporting of duties performed, restoring areas where work has been performed (levelling, seed and straw), maintaining a clean and safe jobsite, picking up tools, equipment, debris, etc.,
safely and efficiently operating a hydro-vac to dig trenches, foundations, and spot utilities, and being responsible for work outcomes that are assigned. Ability to read and understand job site prints. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and driving.
Education/Training:
High school or equivalent. Construction experience: 1 year. Valid Driver's License. Technical Requirements: OSHA 10 Certification. 1+ year of experience in a laboring position.
Compensation: $20-25/hr
