HVAC Service Technician

A growing HVAC services company is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Corona, California. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing commercial and/or residential HVAC systems while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Inspect equipment, identify mechanical or electrical issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, heat pumps, exhaust fans, and related HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Test system performance and verify proper operation after repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair findings, recommendations, and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently.
