Some days bring after-hours emergencies, and you’re ready—because getting people back to comfort is what you do.

About the role

As a Water Heating Systems Sales Technician, you’ll combine hands-on technical work with solution-oriented selling for both residential and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

Advise, recommend, and sell water heater replacements, filtration add-ons, and upgrades during service visits

Close sales through transparent options, pricing, and value communication

Install gas, electric, and tankless units safely and to code Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance

Apply AI-powered sales coaching tools to analyze calls and strengthen selling skills

Educate customers on efficiency, performance, and total lifecycle value

Manage truck inventory, complete accurate job documentation, and maintain clean work areas

Partner with dispatch and installers to ensure timely completion

Support emergency calls with overtime as needed

Comply with all company safety policies and procedures

What sets you up for success

Comfort asking for the sale; prior sales experience preferred1+ year of relevant field experience (plumbing preferred)
Strong communication and a customer-first approach

Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work Growth mindset—coachable and open to feedback

Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards
