Job Overview
We’re hiring immediately for full‑time Route Driver – Micromarket positions role requires a valid driver’s license, previous merchandising experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Location & ScheduleLocation: 2220 Railroad Street, Corona, CA 92878 (Canteen)
Schedule: Full‑time. Sunday through Thursday or Wednesday through Saturday, with hours subject to change.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
- Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on markets; report defective equipment to maintenance or technician dispatcher when necessary.
- Prior to each route, ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required product to service all scheduled markets following outlined operational procedures.
- Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to, and resolve service complaints.
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
- Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
- Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures.
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of driving experience required.
- Preferred 1‑2 years of customer service experience or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Valid Non‑CDL Class C driver’s license (unless otherwise required by state).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
- Able to work independently, responsible for route work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
