The Logistics Coordinator supports Three Way Logistics' Trade Show & Events Division by coordinating the transportation and execution of time-sensitive trade show and event shipments. This role manages shipment activity from pickup through delivery, communicates with customers and carriers, and ensures shipments are delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with customer requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations and Logistics team with daily transportation activities.
  • Enter shipment data into the TMS and dispatch pickups to carriers.
  • Assign routing instructions and send delivery notifications to carriers.
  • Maintain regular communication with carriers and customers regarding shipment status and updates.
  • Schedule, plan, track, and manage shipments from pickup through delivery.
  • Coordinate domestic ground and air freight to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with teammates and carrier partners to meet customer capacity and service requirements.
  • Prepare transportation quotes in response to customer inquiries.
  • Process customer billing in the TMS and finalize shipments for invoicing.
  • Resolve customer service issues by researching shipment discrepancies, damages, and other transportation-related concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve department and company goals.
  • Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Experience:

  • Operations, 5 years (PREFERRED)
  • Logistics, 5 years (PREFERRED)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
