Job OverviewThe Inventory Associate is responsible for the accurate receipt, unpacking, stocking, and inventory management of pharmacy merchandise.
Responsibilities- Receive merchandise and verify that it matches the order documentation.
- Unpack and sort items for proper storage.
- Stock products in the designated location.
- Review stock for expired medications and inventory discrepancies.
- Process returns and perform related documentation.
- Assist with other inventory related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate a patient‑centered focus in all interactions.
- Adhere to company core values during all communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1 year of inventory experience in a similar role.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic PC proficiency and navigation of standard software.
- Accurate counting of items in numerical sequence.
- Effective teamwork and relationship building with colleagues.
- Patient‑centered mindset.
This position spends most of the day on feet, handles office and clinical supplies weighing up to five pounds, and may lift or carry up to thirty pounds. Additional tasks include pushing/pulling items, standing on a step stool, bending, reaching, and twisting as required. The role requires the ability to process written information, apply rules and procedures, and maintain good reading and oral instruction comprehension.
Schedule& Compensation
Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Availability outside normal business hours may be required on an ad‑hoc basis.
Hourly pay ranges from $27 to $30 per hour.
