NSW Technical Writer Security Clearance

Position

NSW Technical Writer – Full‑time – Naval Special Warfare Command Headquarters, Coronado, CA (Travel: 0%) Contingent Upon Award.

Provides technical writing and documentation support to NSWC N32. Responsibilities include developing, editing, and maintaining training and operational documentation to support mission readiness and compliance with Navy and joint doctrine.

• Develop and edit training documentation.
• Collaborate with SMEs.
• Manage the document lifecycle.
• Provide administrative support.
• Submit monthly reports.

• US Citizen.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
• 5+ years developing, researching, compiling, organizing, documenting NSW or SOF training doctrine, policy, and supporting documentation.
• Experience with classified material handling.
• Experience with records management processes, policy document and brief preparation, tracking, and organizing information.
• Experience using AI software applications.
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
• Strong communication skills.

Regularly required to talk, listen, and write. Frequently required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus.
