Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Skills- Experience teaching Special Education students with individualized learning plans
- Familiarity with grade levels ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade, including Early Childhood and Middle School (Grades 6-8)
- Ability to design and implement instruction tailored to students unique needs across multiple grade spans such as K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong background in Math instruction and curriculum adaptation for special education
- Effective classroom management and collaborative skills with school staff and families
- Knowledge of educational best practices for both general and special education populations
- Coronado, CA
- Deliver differentiated instruction in Math and other core subjects to special education students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, and administrative staff about student performance and development
- Participate in professional development and school initiatives as needed
