Assistant Teacher

Kinder Care is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Silver Strand Elementary program. In this role, you'll support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for elementary-age children. You will assist with instruction, supervise students, prepare materials, and help manage daily routines. Working within Kinder Care's inclusive, growth-focused culture, you'll collaborate with educators to enrich children's academic and social development while gaining valuable experience and opportunities for professional growth in early childhood and elementary education.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and learning activities
• Supervise children to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior
• Support preparation of lesson materials, crafts, and learning centers
• Provide individualized attention and encouragement to students
• Communicate positively with children, families, and staff
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transitions between activities
• Follow all school, state, and Kinder
• Care policies and safety procedures
