Position title :
Operations SME/Analyst Location :
San Diego, CA Clearance required : TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Support technical efforts spanning requirements analysis, capability integration planning, user feedback collection, and operational assessment to ensure solutions meet mission needs.
* Lead documentation development, authoring and maintaining concept of operations, TTPs/SOPs, user guides, system descriptions, test plans/reports, and program briefings in accordance with standards.
* Execute configuration management (CM): establish and manage baselines; control change requests; maintain version history; release packages; and ensure traceability from requirements through verification/validation.
* Develop associated training: design curricula, lesson plans, and job aids; deliver classroom and practical instruction; and assess learning outcomes for operators, maintainers, and program staff.
* Support test & evaluation (T&E) activities-planning events, coordinating venues/ranges, capturing operational feedback, and turning findings into actionable requirements or configuration updates.
* Produce high-quality analytic products that inform leadership on status, risks, and recommended courses of action.
* Track and report progress against milestones; maintain action logs; and drive closure of issues and findings. Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience supporting operational missions involving uncrewed systems.
* Experience with data analysis and reporting.
* Familiarity with data analysis techniques and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Python, R, Tableau).
* Possess a working understanding of Special Operations Forces Capabilities Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS) and NSW requirements generation, documentation, and validation processes.
* Ability to visualize and present data effectively.
* Understanding of airspace regulations and procedures.
* Familiarity with FAA regulations pertaining to UAS operations.
* FAA Part 107 certification (for UAS operations) or the ability to obtain it with 6 months of Task Order start.
