Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To):

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diving equipment including regulators, tanks, recompression chambers, and support systems.
• Overhaul and set proper limits for diving regulators and related equipment.
• Inspect and hydrostatically test high-pressure air cylinders and overhaul cylinder manifolds and valves.
• Maintain DLSS equipment per US Navy Dive Manual and ensure functionality of flotation devices and emergency systems.
• Document maintenance activities for various diving and support equipment.
• Manage inventory of repair parts and project needs.
• Record equipment issues and returns with students.
• Conduct inventories of diving equipment regularly.
• Perform monthly inventory of all diving life support equipment and document accordingly.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience with installation-level maintenance programs and systems.
• Active/current Secret security clearance.
• Proof of NAVY PQS/JQR or equivalent certification for MK25 UBA Maintenance Technician.
• Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5341/M1DV or higher), and other specialized certifications listed.
