• Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include, but are not limited to, stocking and maintaining a store section, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

Part‑time Retail Associate – 935 Coronado
Starting Rate $16.90 per hour

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes to validate proper rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Keep interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot clean, maintaining sanitation standards as directed by store management.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information.
• Load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
