We are looking for a Tax Associate to join our Tax Department. The role involves preparing federal and state income tax returns, managing compliance filings, assisting with audits, and supporting client tax planning.

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for clients in a timely manner, maintaining schedules and related paperwork.
• Prepare periodic state compliance filings, including authority to do business in new jurisdictions and annual reports.
• Assist with federal and state tax audits and defend positions taken in client tax returns.
• Provide assistance to team members and clients as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for client tax savings and make recommendations.
• Research technical tax issues.
• Understand client businesses and formulate solutions for complex tax matters.
• Prepare tax projections and tax plans for clients.
• Meet charge‑hour and realization expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Foundational understanding of tax law.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple priorities efficiently and organized.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Time‑management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge‑seeking attitude with a willingness to learn.
