Position Summary
This position will support Drama Program events and productions through student and community engagement. Duties include maintaining the box office for multiple performance spaces, maintaining patron databases, and assisting with front‑of‑house activities. The role requires time in an office setting, a box‑office setting, and lobby/front‑of‑house settings, with some nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with operating the Drama Program Box Office: setting up events and productions in software, tracking and managing ticket sales, promoting ticket sales via social media platforms and the program’s website, selling tickets during events and productions, and running attendance and box‑office reports.
- Assist with community engagement for Drama program events and productions: maintaining the program’s website, pushing content through social media platforms, maintaining mailing and contact lists, organizing mailings, communicating events with the College Relations Office, installing lobby displays, and assisting with receptions and recruiting events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Potential for producing creative content, dependent on qualifications.
- Current or prior work experience in event and/or live theatre community engagement.
