Position Summary

The planner/scheduler organizes and coordinates project timelines, resources, and tasks to ensure operations run efficiently. They determine equipment, materials, and manpower needed for jobs, develop schedules, and track progress to minimize downtime and control costs.

Job Description
  • Evaluate maintenance or manufacturing requests, bundle tasks for efficiency, and prepare daily or weekly schedules.
  • Ensure necessary tools, spare parts, and personnel are available when a job is scheduled to begin.
  • Monitor project progress against established master schedules and adjust workflows to account for delays or emergencies.
  • Facilitate scheduling meetings with production teams, supervisors, contractors, and engineering departments.
  • Ensure all project plans and maintenance routines adhere to government safety regulations and labor agreements.
Job Requirements
  • 5 years of related planning, scheduling, or hands‑on reliability experience.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate across multiple levels of an organization and with external vendors.
  • Employee must be capable of communicating in person, via telephone, email, video chat, and software systems.
  • Good organization, planning, and implementation skills, including the ability to coordinate and work in a team environment.
Location & Logistics
  • The position is located in an office at one of the RICHARD offices in Beaumont or Corpus Christi but requires extensive travel to a site in Gregory, TX. It is an administrative office setting, and the employee must be physically able to carry out the required tasks, visit clients or manufacturing facilities, and attend meetings at various locations.
