The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support for the Financial Aid department.
Minimum QualificationsCurrent Del Mar College student in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed, with the exception of summer or has Intent to Attend the following semester when not enrolled.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Strong basic computer software skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong active listening skills, dynamic telephone presence, and good follow up skills
- General office skills including answering calls, taking messages, faxing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to complete clerical duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to be responsible, accountable, dependable, patient and punctual.
- Basic working knowledge of computers and programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
