PURPOSE Assists in maintaining records for inventoried assets, reports on assets as necessary under state and university regulations and conducts periodic audits of university departmental inventories.
Coordinates auction and selling of surplus items. Accepts items and distributes to appropriate locations. Takes orders and gives directions on availability. DESCRIPTION
Functional Area
1:
Inventory Percent Effort: 30% Serve as the main point of contact for all Islander Housing assets. Track replacement of equipment and computers. Conduct physical inventories and maintain accurate inventory records. Receive, unpack, and store equipment, materials, and supplies. Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality. Assign stock identification numbers and update inventory tracking systems. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure availability of materials.

Distribution Percent Effort: 25% Coordinate the distribution of materials and supplies for Islander Housing. Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery. Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely distribution. Communicate with recipients to confirm delivery details and address any issues. Maintain records of distribution activities and update inventory systems accordingly. Driving university vehicles

Tracking Percent Effort: 10% Track inventory movements and update inventory systems in real-time. Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Implement tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records. Generate tracking reports to provide insights into inventory flow and distribution efficiency. 4:
Record Keeping Percent Effort: 15% Identifies and inventories personal property for Islander Housing. Processes data and adds property items to computer inventory system. Assists in performing Inventory Verification for both capital equipment and consumable inventory for Islander Housing. Conducts periodic audits of Islander Housing departmental inventories. Monitoring and maintaining optimal stock levels. Implementing and managing inventory management systems and software.

Surplus Percent Effort: 10% Maintains records for Islander Housing surplus property. Coordinates and assists in the picking-up of surplus property from university departments Monitor postings of surplus property items according to state guidelines. Submit all Inventory forms for Islander Housing assets (ex-Transfer Departmental property, Property Asset Location, Property Demolition forms). Driving university vehicles

Other Percent Effort: 10% Other duties as assigned. Communicate with campus central receiving Driving university vehicles QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree Three (3) years of clerical/accounting experience Additional experience/education may be used as a substitute for the minimum education/experience requirement. High School Diploma/GED and five (5) years related experience. Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related experience.
Experience with computer applications Maintain a valid Driver License PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to operate a motor vehicle or cart. Ability to lift and work in an environment exposed to heat and cold. SALARY:
Up to $20.36/hourly. Up to $42,340/annually, approximately.
