Maintenance Records Clerk
Process, screen and maintain aircraft maintenance records. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to employees regarding record keeping and maintenance documentation.
Responsibilities- Perform all work-related actions as directed by management and work center shift lead.
- Ensure safety, security, and preservation of government and company equipment.
- Address customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work center.
- Meet government and company license and/or qualification requirements.
- Complete and comply with On the Job Training (OJT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste (HW), Tool Control Program (TCP), and Egress Familiarization program and all safety regulations.
- Perform data entry, maintain NALCOMIS/OOMA data, and assist personnel as required.
- Complete maintenance‑related forms and produce correspondence and reports as needed.
- Maintain the work center technical publication library.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of U.S. Armed Forces aviation maintenance clerical courses or two (2) years of on‑the‑job training (OJT).
- Two (2) or more years of military or civilian clerical records experience.
- Working knowledge of applicable maintenance, technical, and company publications.
- Ability to type a minimum of thirty‑five (35) words per minute.
- Proficiency operating a computer, peripheral equipment, copier, and labeling equipment.
- Office environment within an aircraft maintenance hangar.
- Occasional kneeling, standing, stooping, and bending; ability to lift up to twenty‑five (25) pounds.
- Normal hearing and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods; keyboard input.
- Exposure to noise hazards.
As required for periods up to, or past, 90 days.
