Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide complex clerical, administrative support, and direct services to a department and/or dean, and to act as a liaison between the office and divisions under the department. This is accomplished by completing administrative, secretarial and technical duties for a division, assisting other clerical staff, overseeing the work of student workers and coordinating clerical functions.

Other duties include completing routine clerical tasks and support activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree AND two (2) years of related experience
  • -OR-
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency AND five (5) years related experience
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and public.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including website updates, social media, and marketing materials.
