Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Six (6) months office/clerical related experience
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy maintaining records.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff, and public.
- Experience working in higher education setting.

- Receive and refer visitors and calls to the office; take and distribute messages; distribute mail.
- Provide clerical assistance for Dean of Student Engagement and Retention staff with forms (typing, processing & follow-up of Key Requests, Work Requests, Business Cards, ETR’s, After-Hours, Duplicating, Student Travel Requests.
- Assist staff in preparation for and participate in College-wide activities including but not limited to outreach events, support service fairs, registration, advising, etc.
- Maintain calendar of appointments.
- Conduct inventories and maintain inventory records.
- Other duties as assigned.
